Demon in the Tree

Never talk about demons at night, they say. I'll start by saying that the audio quality of this call was difficult to process, but you can still understand the story, which coincidentally, along with her other episodes with audio issues, is a story about demon It is told from the Marshall Islands. My name is Edmund, and here is the arm true scary story. I believe this was the late seventies. She found out that she was pregnant with her first first being my cousin. My aunt she would either be parked in the parking lotrary for him, or she would be at home. Most of the time she would be at home. There is this one night, just about to go to sleep, she turned off their TV she got comfortable because they used to live in a trailer. Would you go inside a trailer on your left, at the end of a hallse it's like her roomm and the battle and then the hallway to the kitchen and in the living room. My not like sleeping in the room. She turned off her TV and she was just about to go to sleep. Do you know that thing when you're just about well asleep? And she can coming from the room at the end walking towards her. She felt like somebody was standing over her. She didn't want to open her eyes because she said she was scared. She felt like it was forever. She opened her eyes and she got out, started the rosary, trying to clear her head channel of her flaming. The next day, her my uncle, her husband. He came back early in the morning, tired to lead her. Are you angry because I want to get break friends? They come back to sleep, she said, yeah, they went to meat out. When they came back to the house to the trailer my bed. Try to tell my uncle, you know, when I was trying to go to sleep last night, as I felt like somebody was getting open looking down at He's just too busy tired to talk about it, just going probably thinking too much about work. She was working at the time as a telemarketer. Ipe. This has been going on for a few months. There is this one time she was washing clothes, the black shadow standing behind her while she was bent down watching scrubby her clothes, brushing inside a big bucket brush. She behind her and there was nobody there. She got really scared. This really escalated when she was on maternity leave. She was like six seven months prayed already her belly was showing. There is this one time her in her husband we're arguing about financial stuff. Right after their argument, she started seeing scratches on her body, on her chest, her forehead. It was always in threes. She didn't know that. She's just a little that whenever her and her husband would get into a fight, she's always trying to calming down and be like, I understand. She didn't want to get scratched again. One warning she was just sending to her regard she was cleaning how to read, an old man came out of the door. He didn't even know her. She didn't even know him too. He just came out to me and he's like, hy miss I have a really weird question there. He's going through stuff and she's like, what kind of stuff are you going through? Anything? Very normal, but she was being pregnant and woody. She's just like, who's telling you these He's just like no, no, no, no, no, nobody told me. I was just walking by kind of felt like something was something was wrong around this area, and she was just like, yeah, I've been experiencing some stuff. Why what do you feel like? They really he didn't say a bad entity. He was just like, like a bad person is looking at or like a bad person is like spying on me. To stop feeling he just got my aunt was just like, yeah, I have been going through some stuff for a while. Now I try to tell my house Dan, he's not listening to me. She was a wone. Nobody was there with her. The old man was like, if it okay, can go do what I was gonna do and come back and help me to see what this what you're dealing. She's like, I really feel like I'm going crazy. I keep telling people of all these things and nobody's listening to me, and you like, okay, I'll be right back. He left him. I was just going to do what he was about to do that day. He wasn't even planning on going to my aunt. Thomases be like, hey, I know you have something. You just walk by and just know where he had at her heart. He just wanted to see what was happening. He left me back my aunt binding her nails waiting for him, like to come back. So he cleaned back and okay, so we're gonna do walk through your house. I know something's in here, but it's tidy when I came in. That's what the old man said. He said that this thing is hiding it knows that The old man was like a marshal leaf healer, kind of like a white witch led more tapting. But you're beating the demon. You're not standing overted and just praying. You can also have a handle lot coconut leaves. You can just hit wear the demonxiety. It just said, that's when you're fighting with it. They went around the house and he said, I can't bind it in here. They walked out Clay to my aunt's garden. Once he got well, so to my aunt's Plumeria tree. This is a type of tropical flower. You can also find it in laying He started walking towards it, and he's like, the color of the plume area is different. Normally a blue maria tree it's either peep red, yellow or white. He said, it's it looked kind of off, probably because it was a red one. It was a red plant flower. It kind of looked brownish range. It wasn't like the color help plue. You can just look at it in your line. Oh is this tree Okay? It's weird looking. He walks over to the Pomeria tree. He's like, shoul might hunty and I think I can hear it, And she's like, what do you hear? I hear breathing. He starts going around the tree and the tree there's like a black hole. He was like, this is the the thing is. This is where the demon is. It's been sleeping in this in this tree, coming out at night to feed off your fear. He said, don't do anything to this tree yet. I want to talk to you before we do anything. They went back into the house. What people usually do to protect their house, they use salt in front of the doors or the window protect themselves from bast spirits. We sometimes use these different kind of plants. We just tied over our room doors or tied in front of our doors, there's an opening for demons going and out. We also we can also crush the plasts and wipe into the mirrors of the windows. Well, leave on a window or a mirror is another way for them to like spy on. The old man got my aunt back into the house. He said, seal, seal the entrance. That's what he did. They got in and he said, what I can tell you right now is that what you're dealing with is a marshal Ease is a very old engine demon that's been that's been around since before the missionaries came over to the pacifics or even for that. There are different types. There are some that can grow as as coconut trees, anything that you can imagine a pretty tall. There are somengs that wait until you fall asleep. When you did fall asleep, they can invade your dream, show you things that that starts you for lying. There are somes that if you walk into a room and it's all smoke and foggy, then they say that right when you're in the middle of that smoking bob, you're gonna start see someone walking pack or walking towards but you can never see their facing. You can never see what they look like, because I don't know if there are human spirits that were done wrong before or if they were just created by the leaders of the tribes back then to protect them from its like war war towards each other. I guess they would start fighting and trying to look for a way to wait their war. I can't really explain immediately. People are just people from where I'm from, from Mars Whim. They're just gonna be like, oh, we know it. Everybody knows that. That's how long it's around. He told my aunt, you have to stick it out until tomorrow. I'll hope you tomorrow at darn yeah, I'm gonna We're gonna wait until it falls back asleep. If we do it now, it's either that the man is gonna wake up, run away and look for somewhere else to hide. If not only gonna bother you more, but it can also probably bother your baby. Slip your baby around, it could be bored. I heard that their water broke early, or the baby flips over in their stomach, or the whole cord like wrapped around the baby's neck. It's probably superstition, but this is what people usually say. There's these older women men which is very cautious, very spiritual. And so he said, I'm gonna leave, and I'm gonna prepare traditional medicine for you and the baby. I'm gonna bring some stuff firms to fight against this. She said, what if what if I leave the house? He says, you can't leave the house because if if you leave walls, that thing might follow you, might cause you more more hard If you are driving, he could probably show up in the middle of the road, swerve and hit something. You might you might just sit in the back of your trouble while you're driving and it was something to you. He didn't want her to move around because it's not see. When she found out about it, he said, not to go around. My husband didn't know my uncle she acted so everything was burning and she was like, oh, you can go to work, I'll be here, you can come back whenever. But inside she was like, no, I really wish did you know what? I was going to listen to our family? I guess that's what she said. My uncle was like, why are you being so nice? Why are you telling me to leave right now? She's just like, nothing, just just go. I'll be fine. I'm just I'll be fine. Just go. I'm just gonna probably cook the food and just go to sleep. And he's just a suspicious side eyeing her. Are you sure I can call him in to say, I'm I'm going to take you to the hospital, or I can stay we can watch to move it. And she's just like, no, it's okay, you can do whatever you can. You're also out of approbation. If you don't miss a day, it's going to be bad on your record. You really wanted to work for Continental Airlines. And he's like, okay, I guess, I guess I can go love you and love you too. That night, it hit her the hardest because I don't know if that demon knew that she brought someone in to and get rid of it. Now he started showing her things was burying in her ear. Whistley tapped me on her on her window when she was just going crazy. When she was telling me this part, she started crying and she said, I couldn't let anybody know what I was going through. If I told anybody the things, we might have gone to the person I told them about it. Probably hurt them. The thing likes the hid play tricks on you. It's really annoying to have one. It's annoying, but it's also very scary. You can also call the church or Christian church. They're deacons on the pastor whatever. They could come in and start praying for the house and pray for you and get nap kied all these things so this demon can go away. But the thing about this is that it's not gonna go away. This thing is ancient traditional. I don't know why people say that you can get rid of it, but it's not by golden tiger. It's not gonna over my ansid. It's not gonna work. She's been prayed, she got her house less three times or nothing worked. She got passed her thecoveryto exercise of the house, but nothing. It was gone for involvement. But it comes back out of nowhere. She could be like this whole week has the she's washing dishes and when she lifts up her hand in the window, she could see the thing again standing outside the windor you find the reflection of it behind her. It's like, really, he really went through it. The old man came back all right? Five six in the morning. It was dawn really early in the morning. He came back and he had additional baby Oriol Coconut leaves a lot of stuff we brought with it. First of what he did was covered my aunt with baby Oriel while he was chanting towards her. You have to rap h they still. He was rubby rubby the rock shoulder all the way to her finger tips and then her her head down to her toes, and he said, oh, I'm just I'm just wishing out all the that energy that's sticking with you. I'm trying to get rid of it. After they were done that, he started grabbing while he's gonna lead you, started pounding some other plants in a boat while also champing. Champing. He went outside to the Tavaria tree and he just went to the he started covering it. He said, I'm ringing, so it does it. It doesn't come out. So we started walking that. He told him, it's gonna feel like someone's preston mother shoulders. You're gonna start feeling a wing on. He started champing. It ain't a little brown staff. It's not for rocking around. They didn't put it on you. And then because your spirit is rundling. He started patting the grown and my aunts started feeling or someone was pushing all of his shoulders down. There's someone someone on top of him, like an adult, stating on my sl so dy. He just kept champing, chamming. He started finding the brown he seem she said, he poor mariage. He started shaking, and leave started following. He just kept downing. Leaves started following, and then you can see it. You could see a word up ending started to go brown, from breeding to brown. It was reading here because I really thought that forever. He starts cutting it off while he champing. When the marias he fell, he took out his staff and started beating all the treat my arm. She can't hear the really whole growl. It was so she never heard it before, lower a growl. She came here. The old man just kept beating him. She looked at how the old man who was beating, and she was. He was beating treat and some top the bottom. Probably took a few minutes or a nine hour for the old man to be put day out. The treat died from our health. Grow looking were all grown and dry. It up. The old massai, okay, I I think I got the demon. We have to hear burns. I'm sorry to tell you about your Maybe that doesn't beat the demon. Your blue marry. She's gonna have any flowers anymore. She's like, it's okay, I just just want to sleep. He started chanting more like for somep option and started burning. I started burning it. It was like a different color when we started throwing the reads and the branch is it. It looks like somebody was on top of Herfully, there's a smo body or something was on top of the flag. She was just what is this. He's just said, that's the demon. You can't see me fight. You can't see you can't see that whole Since that baby my has well, he's always Christian. She maaked the old man on a sudden. That old man's family close said, since forever, I'm talking out with their kids. After the old man passed forward me he never taught Andy. His kids are what he does. One of his daughters told him off and said she was old Christian. She told him off because he wanted to teach you. One of these persons. His daughter keep herd of her apples, and she was like, don't teach you for any other things? Are doing? Yeah, doing the Devil's She just yelling at her dad and then the old man was like, Okay, I don't teach anybody. This is useful. What if I die and these things happened to you, what are you gonna do? What if God knows? What if this doesn't doesn't respond to your prayers, he won't be afraid of it. It's either I teach you, bas babe, or you go through. You go through it suffer because you didn't listen to And She's just like, that is always the answers. That is all the answer we passed for. I remember I went to the probably such a grade, first grade, and I was asking my mom. I was like, Mom, who's this old man? We're kinda see. She was just saying, oh, I called it. That's how hoose we are to my uncle her school, that's how they are to is he related to because he he was the only one that helped out my sister and chief. My sister said to treat him like the father because he's very carry after both with the dmon what I could do with they do? For what you did, I'm going to give my inson, you're in lost me. So my eldest cousin is the only one with the different and she He is not your blood, but he will always be your family. The old man passed Fuway, and my cousin grew up. Nothing happened to Michael when he grew up healthy, came out healthy. There is this one time she was in her garden and then she found out someone threw like a pebble at my back, at her back. When she looked back, it was her husband and he was walking away. But she knew her husband was inside the trailer. Nobody ever writes writes about these things because it's like taboo. We tell each other during the day because you can never talk about it at night. It's bad to talk about Damon that night.
