[00:00:12] Today Sean shares with us his terrifying accounts that may have been following him due to his

[00:00:17] family history.

[00:00:19] However, some of the events, specifically at the end of this episode, may have been

[00:00:24] attached to the place he was in.

[00:00:28] My name is Edwin and here is Sean's True Scary Story.

[00:00:40] In 2017 is when I was living with my parents right before I joined the Navy.

[00:00:47] I was 18 around the time this was my first experience with sleep paralysis and the hag.

[00:00:54] I was in my bedroom.

[00:00:55] It was pitch black.

[00:00:56] The only illuminating light that I had was from the window.

[00:01:01] With sleep paralysis, your eyes are open but your body can't move.

[00:01:04] I was looking at the bottom of my bed.

[00:01:08] I could see this bright green light.

[00:01:10] It kind of looked like toxic waste like in a movie.

[00:01:13] That's kind of the color it was.

[00:01:16] I was looking at it really, really intensely and I still couldn't move.

[00:01:21] I had the mumbles trying to get out words like help because I couldn't move.

[00:01:25] This was my first time ever experiencing this so this was so different.

[00:01:30] I could see that this girl or this woman started to form.

[00:01:38] She had her fingers up on top of her mouth and I could see her knuckles but not her

[00:01:44] fingers.

[00:01:45] She was laughing.

[00:01:48] I could feel my body gain a little bit of life and I just kept rocking, rocking.

[00:01:54] Then I finally jumped up because I was so mad.

[00:01:58] I was like who's this in my house?

[00:02:01] When I got up to her she dissipated.

[00:02:03] That was my first experience ever with the so-called hag.

[00:02:08] I didn't tell anyone because I didn't know really what it was.

[00:02:14] My dad was always the kind of guy.

[00:02:16] Ghosts aren't real but he had a very big understanding of what the supernatural was.

[00:02:22] I could always understand.

[00:02:25] We had cousins who had played with the Ouija board back in the 80's.

[00:02:29] They were asking questions.

[00:02:31] They asked the question when are we going to die?

[00:02:33] The Ouija board gave them a date.

[00:02:35] The date the Ouija board gave them they crashed into the back of a semi another

[00:02:40] semi crashed in the back of them and sandwiched the car.

[00:02:45] My dad ever since that happened he doesn't like to talk about the paranormal.

[00:02:49] He knows it's there.

[00:02:51] He doesn't want to ever talk about it.

[00:02:53] It was a very taboo subject growing up.

[00:02:56] Any of my sisters we would talk about it sometimes but not like that.

[00:03:02] My sister she traced back our lineage.

[00:03:05] There's some witchcraft throughout there.

[00:03:07] We've never really gotten to anything like that.

[00:03:10] In 2018-2019 I met my husband.

[00:03:15] We had started dating.

[00:03:17] We both got stationed up in Washington.

[00:03:21] When we were moving up there he was like hey I'm going to get a house with our friends.

[00:03:25] Do you want to come move in?

[00:03:27] So we got this house it was in the woods pretty much.

[00:03:31] It was really nice.

[00:03:33] Had a really big backyard.

[00:03:36] The vibe of the house was always weird.

[00:03:38] It always felt like somebody was in there watching you.

[00:03:42] You hear the creaks.

[00:03:45] There was one night I remember I woke up.

[00:03:47] Our bed was against one wall and we had the walk-in closet and then the bathroom

[00:03:52] was right next to it.

[00:03:54] The bathroom had this white mist coming out of it.

[00:03:58] It was wrapping over my husband.

[00:04:03] I looked at it and I thought it was so weird.

[00:04:06] There's no fog outside.

[00:04:08] There's no windows open.

[00:04:10] There's no shower on.

[00:04:11] We don't even have a humidifier in the room.

[00:04:13] I was like I have to be dreaming but I could see it moving.

[00:04:18] It was moving towards me.

[00:04:20] I just said I'm going to go to sleep.

[00:04:22] I don't want to wake him up.

[00:04:24] He's going to just shrug it off.

[00:04:26] He's half asleep.

[00:04:28] The next day I did tell him I said hey last night there was this mist over you

[00:04:32] and I don't know what is going on.

[00:04:35] I've never seen this before.

[00:04:37] I went into the little town that we had to this magic shop.

[00:04:42] I need to get some sage, the white sage so I can cleanse my house and I need

[00:04:47] something for a protection crystal.

[00:04:49] They given me some type of protection crystal.

[00:04:52] The lady was like oh you're in the military.

[00:04:54] I said yes and she said well because you're around all these bases

[00:04:57] then these bases bring a lot of negative energy.

[00:05:00] You're bringing that home with you.

[00:05:02] I got these crystals.

[00:05:04] You should sleep with them under your pillow and you should not feel anything.

[00:05:11] I was pretty much good after that.

[00:05:13] Didn't have any experiences but then me and my husband, we were still married

[00:05:17] but he had gotten orders to San Francisco and my command moved.

[00:05:22] This was right when COVID happened.

[00:05:25] I was in this apartment for eight months until we moved.

[00:05:31] I can remember the second time I had my experience with the hag.

[00:05:35] My husband was able to come down.

[00:05:37] They'd lifted up the restrictions.

[00:05:40] We were in bed one night.

[00:05:44] I woke up.

[00:05:46] I had a bright white light this time.

[00:05:49] It was on the side of my face.

[00:05:52] I felt her hands and her feet crawling across the bed.

[00:06:00] It felt like tons.

[00:06:03] Every time they would hit, I couldn't move.

[00:06:06] She was on top of my chest.

[00:06:07] She put all of her weight on.

[00:06:09] I could hear this loud vacuum sucking sound with it.

[00:06:15] It felt like my soul was being sucked out of my body.

[00:06:20] I literally felt like my life was flashing before my eyes.

[00:06:24] I don't even remember falling asleep back after that.

[00:06:26] I just remember I can still see everything and feel the weight on my chest.

[00:06:35] The hair was all on my face.

[00:06:36] I couldn't even see her face, but I could see her.

[00:06:40] Then I could see teeth.

[00:06:41] I could see white mist from me flowing into her.

[00:06:45] And I was like, this is so weird.

[00:06:48] That was my second experience with her.

[00:06:51] We only lived there for a couple months

[00:06:53] because I always felt that apartment had a really bad vibe.

[00:06:58] The way my room was set up was I had this big vanity next to the bathroom.

[00:07:03] After that, I could not sleep near the mirror.

[00:07:06] There's this big superstition, don't sleep next to mirrors.

[00:07:08] It's a portal.

[00:07:09] You know, I had to move my bed.

[00:07:11] I really didn't have a way because I had the vanity.

[00:07:14] And then my closet doors were those closet doors that had mirrors on them.

[00:07:18] There wasn't much I could do.

[00:07:20] And I don't like to sleep with the doors open.

[00:07:22] But I always feel like someone's looking in.

[00:07:24] And especially in that apartment, I always felt like somebody was looking in on me.

[00:07:28] Around the time, I would take my body and I would make a triangle with a pillow over my head.

[00:07:36] So if I woke up, I wouldn't see something directly if there was somebody in the room

[00:07:42] or if some spirit was watching me.

[00:07:47] I had went on deployment.

[00:07:50] My husband had moved into a new house in the military housing.

[00:07:53] I got back from deployment in February 2022.

[00:07:56] Things were good.

[00:07:58] That's when I started to notice a month or so after the house had kind of a weird vibe to it.

[00:08:04] Right next to here, next to all these bases, military bases, they bring a lot of negative energy.

[00:08:09] It's not anything intentional.

[00:08:10] It just happens.

[00:08:13] I always felt at the top of our stairs, there was this dark mist.

[00:08:17] But it's nothing I've ever seen like project or actually see form.

[00:08:23] But that's the only way I can feel like I'm in this really dark mist and it's sad and angry.

[00:08:36] I wasn't the only one.

[00:08:37] I had talked to my friend.

[00:08:39] She felt that too.

[00:08:41] I would always feel eyes on me in the house.

[00:08:43] But it wasn't like, I don't want you here.

[00:08:46] It was like, I need help in a way.

[00:08:49] But then there was also sometimes there's that angry presence like,

[00:08:52] I really don't want you here but I can't tell you to leave.

[00:08:56] After so long, I was just like whatever.

[00:08:58] I kept doing the pillow thing.

[00:08:59] I didn't want to see anything.

[00:09:01] I didn't even like being in a house by myself.

[00:09:04] I started hanging out with my best friend.

[00:09:06] Me and her, we were doing almost every day together.

[00:09:10] When we'd have people over, drinks would be flowing and we'd like,

[00:09:12] hey, no one's allowed to drive home.

[00:09:14] So she would stay over a lot.

[00:09:17] There was one night we had went out and came back.

[00:09:21] She was there sleeping on the couch.

[00:09:26] It's a recliner set, everything.

[00:09:29] There's no way she can fall off of this unless she actually threw herself off.

[00:09:35] She says that someone pulls her, full force pulls her.

[00:09:40] She's the only one downstairs.

[00:09:43] It's just her.

[00:09:45] She woke up.

[00:09:46] She looked around thinking that someone's here.

[00:09:50] There's no one there.

[00:09:53] And she was like, I turned on the TV.

[00:09:55] I sat there until five o'clock in the morning and I left immediately.

[00:10:00] She was so scared.

[00:10:03] Not too long after that, we had more people over one night.

[00:10:08] We're all sitting on the couch.

[00:10:10] It's me and two of our other friends.

[00:10:14] Everybody had already went to bed.

[00:10:16] And the doorbell starts ringing.

[00:10:18] My dog's going crazy.

[00:10:20] The doorbell started ringing.

[00:10:21] I look outside.

[00:10:23] There's no one there.

[00:10:26] It's weird.

[00:10:27] My husband comes downstairs.

[00:10:29] He opens up the door.

[00:10:30] This is probably the worst thing he could have done.

[00:10:32] I think he let something in when he opened that door.

[00:10:36] He walks out, looks around.

[00:10:37] There's no one there.

[00:10:39] So going back, goes to sleep.

[00:10:44] Everything's fine.

[00:10:46] Not too long after that, stuff starts moving around our house too.

[00:10:53] We had this electric fly swatter.

[00:10:55] Do you get flies crazy for some weird reason?

[00:10:58] It was probably just the heat.

[00:10:59] I remember there was one time.

[00:11:00] I'm home alone by myself sitting in the living room.

[00:11:03] It's a direct open shot that you can see from where our key

[00:11:06] rack is at, where that's hanging, to the living room.

[00:11:10] You can see it directly.

[00:11:12] That thing is swinging back and forth

[00:11:14] like someone had pushed it.

[00:11:16] I had not went in there at all that morning.

[00:11:18] I'm sitting there confused.

[00:11:20] No one else is home with me.

[00:11:21] I'm just watching it.

[00:11:22] I've recorded it.

[00:11:23] And I sent it to our group chat.

[00:11:24] I said, guys, I'm the only one home.

[00:11:26] I haven't even been in the kitchen this morning.

[00:11:28] Look at this.

[00:11:29] Everyone's like, oh, home is just ghost in the house.

[00:11:32] Me had already been getting this feeling,

[00:11:34] the thing at the top of the stairs.

[00:11:40] Finally, I had myself was asking neighbors about stuff

[00:11:45] that's happened around.

[00:11:47] The way the neighborhood is set up,

[00:11:49] it's a big courtyard in the middle, four streets

[00:11:51] surrounding each other.

[00:11:54] On the other side of the courtyard,

[00:11:58] there was a man.

[00:11:59] He had murdered his wife.

[00:12:02] And he had left.

[00:12:04] I've heard two sets of the stories,

[00:12:06] but the one I read online, it said

[00:12:09] that he had kept her in a deep freezer for two years.

[00:12:13] He had said that she went missing.

[00:12:15] There was an incident in the courtyard

[00:12:18] where she had ran outside and said

[00:12:22] that she was cutting herself or something.

[00:12:24] That's what he was saying.

[00:12:26] These two years goes by.

[00:12:28] Everybody's like, where is she?

[00:12:30] They're asking him, where did she go?

[00:12:32] I think she just ran off.

[00:12:34] The day he's supposed to move out and move

[00:12:38] across the country, her body's found.

[00:12:41] He threw her body in the canal.

[00:12:44] The police had found her.

[00:12:45] They knew who she was because she'd been missing.

[00:12:49] They come to his house and everything,

[00:12:50] and they're like, hey, we found your wife.

[00:12:53] He already has a whole new fiance and everything.

[00:12:55] They're about to move.

[00:12:56] He goes, oh, that's crazy.

[00:12:59] Come to find out he was the one who did it.

[00:13:01] They expedited him back here when all that had happened.

[00:13:06] It's not just one property.

[00:13:08] All the properties are connected with each other,

[00:13:11] especially this courtyard is what

[00:13:12] keeps everybody connected too.

[00:13:16] I feel like maybe it was her spirit still

[00:13:19] asking for help in a way or just being angry

[00:13:23] that she can't leave.

[00:13:24] She's stuck there.

[00:13:26] Even till the day that we moved out,

[00:13:28] we moved out in November of 2023,

[00:13:31] I still felt really awkward and weird

[00:13:35] being in there by myself.

[00:13:37] I've just felt a heaviness of sadness and anger

[00:13:40] of not wanting to be there and needing the help.

[00:13:44] I don't think anybody else felt that, but my friend,

[00:13:47] she was the only one that when I spoke to her

[00:13:49] about this yesterday, she was like, no,

[00:13:51] I felt that too.

[00:13:52] At the top of your stairs, she said,

[00:13:54] I didn't like ever going upstairs unless you were up there

[00:13:57] because I felt like something was up there.

[00:14:00] It's crazy I'm the only one that felt like that,

[00:14:03] but that was really that.

[00:14:05] Now we've moved to the other side

[00:14:07] in this brand new built place.

[00:14:09] I don't really get the vibe that something is here

[00:14:13] or anything like that, but it doesn't take long

[00:14:17] for someone to show itself.

[00:14:19] So I've always been a believer

[00:14:22] ever since I've experienced more and more and more

[00:14:24] making me start to realize like,

[00:14:26] there's more things out there.

[00:14:37] The case Sean mentioned is true and verifiable.

[00:14:40] The victim's name is Elizabeth Rix Sullivan

[00:14:44] who had been missing in 2014

[00:14:47] and for two years, nobody knew of her whereabouts.

[00:14:50] When her body was found in the San Diego Bay,

[00:14:53] investigators discovered that she had been stored

[00:14:55] in a freezer for two years.

[00:14:58] And even though we don't cover this specific case
